it's getting dark
During the summer I'm usually the one who says, "I am ready for winter!" Because honestly, I am a lover of constant cool, hoodies, warm house boots, soups, and of course the jackets.
Hey, I am loving the coolness, but I forgot about one thing: The lack of light.
It is getting to me. My mental and emotional state especially.
I think it is getting to other people too. We all like to smile and say it's fine but it's not.
To clear these dumps here are a few tips:
1. Get at least 15 minutes of sunshine per day- Don't wear sunglasses either! For some odd reason this lets your brain filter the light and it affects your mood.
2. Tis the season to watch movies- I am already taking advantage of the Christmas season movies, grab a bowl of popcorn and watch to your heart's content
3. Create, create, create- My dad always states that we are made to create things, so get to it! Do a DIY, write something, do photography, make bread... Do something that makes you happy.
Well, I shall admit that most of those ideas were from my Dad, but why not share them?
