2013 Fall Movies

I have been thinking, knowing rather, that I was going to give you guys some great fall movies to watch, but was waiting for fall to come around.  Thus, for the past 8 days I have had a large blonde moment and totally thought that it didn't turn fall until October 22nd.  Ooops...
Anyways, I am here now to introduce you to some of my favorites...

Breakfast at Tiffany's

This is one of those movies that brings back the winds of nostalgia and longing for the 1960's again, though I never existed in the time.
Let me tell you, I did go and read the book after watching the movie and was not pleasantly surprised.  I remember my brows being bunched together through half of it and not recognizing MY Holly Golightly at all.      Watch this movie, it is absolutely wonderful and nostalgic.  I laughed so hard at the party scene.

You've Got Mail

My dad brought this movie home from the $5 movie section and I had little interest to watch it.  I finally decided to plug it in and loved it.  (It wasn't until Moondust pointed out all the parallels to Pride and Prejudice that it all made a little more sense though.)
Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are absolutely cute, and I appreciated that fact that this whole movie is based on books.  Can I hear a woot! woot! for that?
(I cannot leave you without this quote:
“The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall. Decaf. Cappuccino.”
You’ve Got Mail (1998) – Joe Fox (Tom Hanks)

E.T.

Okay, I don't think I need much explanation for this movie.  It just has so much school and Halloween in it that I can't help but think of this movie when I think of fall.

Legend of the Guardians
This movie makes my sister "feel like she can fly".  I like this movie because the animation is pretty extraordinary and the plot line is good.  If you've read the books you most likely will enjoy it much more, so I'd suggest you read the first three in the series before watching this movie.  Lucky for us the books are short. ;)
Good movie, but to appreciate it you will need to have some background.

So, what are YOUR favorite fall time movies?
