plug = extraordinary

 The little oddities in life never cease to amaze me.

   We were in a hotel because we were visiting some relatives when I happened to look down and there sat this plug, in the ground, in the carpet.  

   "Why would they put a plug there of all places?!" My question was asked with a smirk, and an incredulous glance at it just right there.

  "So you can plug a TV or a lamp in there," my dad never looked up from the map he was contemplating, "But it is in an inconvenient place."

       After marveling at the location I ran upstairs to grab my camera and snapped a photo.

I love making ordinary things extraordinary.
